Mandala

This circular mandala unfolds in three distinct, symbolic layers. The innermost layer is alive with intricate shapes in greenish and red tones, embodying the richness and vitality of the Earth. The second layer is formed by a series of concentric circles, each holding a black circle that shifts position from ring to ring—an echo of the sun and moon in motion—set against a backdrop of vivid sunrise and sunset hues. The outermost layer is the most complex, filled with strange, alien-like forms in mismatched, unexpected colors, capturing the mystery and unpredictability of the universe. At the very center rests the Umyang, the Korean symbol of universal balance, grounding the cosmic chaos in harmony and reflecting my own heritage.
